Ahead of its inaugural event in Hong Kong, the BLAST Premier Rivals tournament has announced a partnership with the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) training software company, Refrag. The collaboration aims to integrate advanced training tools directly into the event’s broadcast and on-site experience for fans and competitors.

The partnership will see Refrag serve as an Official Partner for the Hong Kong tournament. As part of the deal, Refrag will receive digital integrations during the event’s broadcast and physical branding at the venue. A key feature of the collaboration will be a dedicated desk segment, where the platform’s software will be used to analyse and break down plays from the competition. This integration provides a practical showcase of the tools Refrag offers to players for skill development and tactical growth.

Freddie Beale, Head of Sponsorship Sales at BLAST, commented on the new partnership, stating: “We’re very excited to welcome Refrag on board for our debut event in Hong Kong. They’ve continued to innovate and enhance the Counter-Strike practice space for many years now, and we think fans of BLAST events will love the features on offer — whether they’re just picking up the game or competing at the top level.”

Stefan Dorresteijn, CTO and Co-Founder of Refrag, said: “BLAST has given CS fans countless unforgettable moments, so we’re overjoyed to be partnering with them for their first event in Hong Kong. Being able to showcase Refrag and what it can do for the millions of CS players around the world is something we’ve dreamed about for a long time.”

Refrag, which launched in 2018, has built a reputation for providing training software designed to help Counter-Strike players of all levels improve their individual skills and team tactics. The platform’s involvement in a high-profile BLAST Premier event marks a significant step in bringing its utilities to a wider, mainstream esports audience.
