Esports Charts has been appointed as the official viewership analytics partner for the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major 2025, marking a renewed collaboration between the Ukrainian data firm and the tournament organiser.

The agreement will see Esports Charts deliver real-time audience data and insights across all stages of the Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) event, which is set to take place in Hungary from 24 November to 14 December. As one of the leading providers of esports viewership metrics, the company aims to provide teams, sponsors and organisers with transparent and actionable data throughout the tournament.

This partnership accompanies StarLadder’s return to Counter-Strike Major hosting duties after a five-year absence. The Budapest Major will be the company’s first since the 2019 Berlin Major, which remains one of the top-viewed CS tournaments with over 44 million hours watched.

Commenting on the collaboration, Esports Charts Co-Founder and CEO Artyom Odintsov highlighted the shared origins and values of the two companies. “Since both Esports Charts and StarLadder are Ukraine-born companies, we share similar values and deal with similar challenges, which brings us even closer,” he said. Odintsov also expressed confidence in the upcoming event, citing the organisers’ “expertise, drive, and passion”.

Viacheslav Shcherbakov, Sales and Partnerships at Starladder, praised the analytics provider for its reliability: “In a market where reliable data is essential, Esports Charts provides honest, transparent numbers, exactly the kind of insights sponsors and stakeholders rely on.”

The Budapest Major 2025 will feature the top 32 Counter-Strike 2 teams competing for a $1.25 million prize pool. In addition to the Major, StarLadder is also planning a lead-in event in Budapest from 13 to 21 September.
