NRG has entered into a new partnership with Thrustmaster, naming the gaming hardware company its official controller partner for Rocket League.

The agreement will see Thrustmaster integrated into NRG’s content, activations, and competitive efforts, beginning with a bootcamp at the company’s headquarters in Rennes, France. The training camp takes place in the lead-up to the Rocket League World Championship, scheduled for 10 September in Lyon.

Hauk Nelson, Director of Business Development at NRG, said: “NRG Rocket League is all about competitive excellence and community. Thrustmaster shares those same values. They’re not just giving us world-class hardware — they’re helping us level up how we connect with our fans, both online and in person.”

Yannis Bouillennec, Esport & Influencer Manager at Thrustmaster, added: “We are thrilled to welcome NRG to our headquarters and to officially partner with the top Rocket League team in North America. Together, we’re raising the bar for what it means to compete, create, and inspire in this space.”

As part of the partnership, Thrustmaster will feature in NRG’s Mission Control broadcast series, Community Game Nights on Twitch, and across custom content on social media. The brand will also be visible on the front of NRG’s jerseys during major competitions.

The announcement follows another commercial move by NRG in July this year, when the organisation partnered with AI-powered camera brand OBSBOT, focused on NRG’s VALORANT team.
