Two leading organisations in the MMORPG scene, Team Liquid and Echo Esports, have revealed new collaborations with the recently launched game Sword of Justice.
The partnerships, announced via the organisations’ social media channels, are designed to engage with the new free-to-play title, which combines fast-paced action with strategic gameplay. This move highlights a trend of game developers partnering with established esports entities to promote new releases and build competitive communities.
Team Liquid announced its partnership, stating the organisation is preparing to “conquer new challenges together.” The promotional material featured members of Team Liquid’s World of Warcraft guild, which recently secured a high-profile victory in the Race to World First for Mythic Manaforge Omega.
Concurrently, rival guild Echo announced its own collaboration, revealing that its members are already “trying out the first raid” in the new Sword of Justice title.

The game itself, developed by ZhuRong Studio, a subsidiary of NetEase Games, and launched on 7th November 2025, is an open-world MMORPG with an Eastern fantasy setting. These partnerships represent a significant early endorsement for the new title from two of the most recognised names in the competitive MMORPG scene.
This strategy of leveraging esports organisations for game promotion is not new to the MMORPG genre. Earlier this year, the game Valhalla pursued a similar path, forming alliances with organisations including Method and Alliance, as well as the Global Esports Business Week (GEIW). At the time, the developers explained the rationale behind such investments in an interview with The Esports Radar, citing shared values between the communities.
The partnerships with Team Liquid and Echo for Sword of Justice appear to follow this model, using respected guilds to validate and showcase content to a targeted player base.
