Indian game development studio SuperGaming has secured $15 million in its Series B funding round, valuing the company at around $100 million. The round was led by Skycatcher and Steadview Capital, with participation from a range of strategic investors, including esports organisation LOUD from Brazil.

LOUD’s involvement is central to SuperGaming’s plan to introduce its flagship title Indus Battle Royale to Latin America. The region, described as home to a highly engaged community, will be the first in the company’s international rollout strategy. LOUD’s role will be to partner with SuperGaming in bringing the game to players in this market.

Other investors in the round included a16z Speedrun, Bandai Namco 021 Fund, Neowiz, IVC Japan, Barings and several Web3-focused backers such as Polygon Ventures, Sandeep Nailwal and Decentralised.co. Returning Series A investors, including SkyCatcher, AET Japan and BACE Capital, also joined this round.

According to SuperGaming, besides supportting the launch of Indus Battle Royale in Latin America, the fresh capital will be used to scale its game development capabilities, create new original IP, and strengthen publisher partnerships. It will also fund expansion of its proprietary SuperPlatform, a cloud-based technology designed in partnership with Google Cloud to support hyperscale, real-time multiplayer games, particularly for lower-end devices in emerging markets.

“Our investment in SuperGaming pairs Bandai Namco’s global IP expertise with the team’s deep understanding of India’s gaming ecosystem, opening the door to growth in India and beyond.”, said Natsuhiro Maruyama, Investor at Bandai Namco 021 Fund.

Roby John, CEO and Co-Founder of SuperGaming, said “We are at an inflection point where India’s role in gaming evolves from a consumer market to a driving force in innovation, and this investment fuels that transition. Indus Battle Royale is just our beginning.”
