ECAC Esports (Eastern College Athletic Conference) and tournament organiser Rally Cry have entered a partnership with the United States Space Force (USSF) to support collegiate esports competitions in the United States.
In a statement on the partnership, the organisations said they are “shaping the future of collegiate esports and inspiring the next generation to aim higher.” No further details on the participation or promotion of the USSF at the project were disclosed.
According to the official announcement, the collaboration between ECAC and Rally Cry will use the former’s platform to manage leagues for the Conference’s member schools, with a focus on reducing administrative burdens.
The partnership will see Rally Cry’s technology handle registration, scheduling, and score reporting for participating institutions. The competitive structure will feature year-round competition across Fall and Spring seasons and is open to both varsity and club teams. The programme also includes monthly recognition for players and content creators.

This marks the second recent partnership between Rally Cry and a US military branch, following an announcement two months ago that the Army National Guard would be a key partner for the 2025 Rally Cry Championship Tour. The ECAC, a long-standing athletic conference, has been operating its esports conference for seven years and involves over 300 member schools.
2025 has been a busy year for college esports in the US. Initiatives by PlayVS like the PlayVS College League, the Standards Initiative by NACE and VOICE, and GameSquare‘s project with Barnes & Noble College, kept the scene heated in the country.
