Streaming platform SOOP has announced the continuation of its Cross Regional – SOOP LoL INVITATIONAL, a two-day global League of Legends esports event scheduled to take place from 26 to 27 June 2026. The online tournament will feature a cross-regional showdown between South Korean League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) teams and a combined Americas alliance consisting of North American League of Legends Chempionship Series (LCS) and the Brazilian League of Legends Championship (CBLOL) organisations currently bootcamping in South Korea.
The initiative aims to maintain global fan engagement during the competitive off-season while serving as a strategic content investment to preview team synergies ahead of the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational (MSI).

This professional invitational functions as the second phase of a broader promotional campaign and content investment strategy by SOOP. It directly follows the platform’s recent “Cross-Regional: LoL Korea vs. France” streamer event held on 21–22 June, which secured a partnership with South Korean payment gateway provider Payletter and featured a 10 million won (~$6,500 USD) prize pool. By integrating active professional rosters into this subsequent iteration, SOOP seeks to maximise the value of its official team partnerships, leveraging the presence of overseas teams training in South Korea to drive a long-term domestic and global user influx ahead of the formal MSI (Mid-Season Invitational) kickoff.
Representing “Team KR” are domestic rosters DN SOOPers, Dplus KIA, and KIWOOM DRX, who will face off against the “Team AMER” alliance consisting of Cloud9, FlyQuest, and Brazil’s LOS. A total of nine matches will be broadcast exclusively on the SOOP platform, starting with five games on Friday 26 June and concluding with four games on Saturday 27 June.
The digital event will feature localised commentary channels. Legends from the LCK and LPL (League of Legends Pro League, the official circuit in China), Lee Seo “Kuro” Haeng and Kim “GimGoon” Han-saem, will deliver the official Korean commentary, while former LEC (League of Legends EMEA Championship) caster and current United Kingdom Esports Nations Cup coach Adam “Eragon” Harney will return to provide the exclusive English-language co-stream.
