Japanese technology solutions and engineering staffing company Persol Cross Technology has signed a sponsorship agreement with Japanese professional esports team FENNEL, with the partnership set to begin in July 2026.

As part of the deal, Persol Cross Technology’s logo will appear on off-stage jerseys and other apparel worn by FENNEL players, who predominantly compete in esports titles like Apex Legends, VALORANT, League of Legends, and Brawl Stars. Through the sponsorship, the company wants to build new relationships with the esports community while supporting the growth of the industry.

The two organisations also plan to explore collaborations that combine Persol Cross Technology’s expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis with FENNEL’s experience in competitive esports and community management. The companies said they are considering new projects that use the latest technologies to support innovation in esports.

Persol Cross Technology said the partnership goes beyond traditional sponsorship, with both organisations seeking to contribute to the continued development of the esports industry through practical and advanced technology applications.

Ryo Takashima, President and CEO of Fennel, said (translated from Japanese), “We are extremely honored to have entered into a sponsorship agreement with Persol Cross Technology. Going beyond a simple sponsorship relationship, we will promote medium- to long-term initiatives that will lead to the creation of new value by combining Persol Cross Technology’s expertise in cutting-edge technologies, including the IT and DX fields, with FENNEL’s experience cultivated in the competitive and community domains.”

Shinji Masaki, President and CEO of Persol Cross Technology, said (translated from Japanese), “Through this sponsorship agreement, we will support FENNEL in their further success and contribute to the development of the entire esports industry. We will also proactively consider and promote new initiatives unique to both companies.”

FENNEL has been steadily adding new partners in recent months. Around a month ago, the organisation extended its sponsorship with DUNLOP for its VALORANT and VALORANT GC (Women’s) teams. It also signed a new partnership with gaming brand HyperX in April 2026.
