JioBLAST, a joint venture between Jio, BLAST, and RISE Worldwide Limited, has partnered with Supercell to operate the Brawl Stars Challengers 2026 circuit across South and Southeast Asia. The initiative aims to establish a merit-driven competitive ecosystem that connects grassroots players to international stages.

By providing a regional pathway, the partners intend to identify the strongest squads in these subregions and qualify them for the official international circuit, culminating in the Brawl Stars Challengers Final in Istanbul, Turkey, this September.

The 2026 circuit combines open grassroots monthly qualifiers with monthly finals and a cumulative leaderboard system. Registration for the first season opened on 27 April and will run until 17 May, with monthly qualifiers scheduled for late May.

The top two teams from the regional leaderboards will eventually advance to the Regional Finals to compete for a spot at the global LAN event in Istanbul on 5–6 September 2026.

“Excited to collaborate with Supercell to bring the Brawl Stars Challengers: South Asia/South East Asia tournaments to life in 2026,” JioBLAST stated in a LinkedIn post. “Together, JioBLAST and BLAST are coming together to operate a truly international competitive ecosystem… creating a clear, merit-driven journey for the next generation of champions.”

The development follows a broader multi-year agreement between BLAST and Supercell to revamp the Brawl Stars esports landscape. This expanded global ecosystem includes a $2 million total prize pool, six online seasons, and three major in-person events. One of these events is the Brawl Cup, which is scheduled to take place at the Uber Eats Music Hall in Berlin, Germany, from 15–17 May.

The shift toward regionalised, partner-led circuits like JioBLAST’s reflects a strategic move to stabilise “mobile-first” markets, which industry leaders recently identified as the primary driver of growth for the global esports sector.

Based in Mumbai, JioBLAST was formed to serve as a primary esports production company within India by leveraging Jio’s digital infrastructure and BLAST’s tournament operations expertise.
