Nordic esports organisation Metizport has announced a new multi-year partnership with Maysun, a Swiss health and performance start-up, to serve as its official Health and Performance partner.
The agreement will see Maysun implement a science-driven framework across Metizport’s rosters, covering pillars such as physical recovery, mental conditioning, and long-term athlete development. As part of the deal, Metizport athletes will gain access to Maysun’s specialised facilities in Switzerland and a dedicated team of medical experts.
By institutionalising health and performance, the organisation aims to protect its players from burnout and physical strain—factors that have traditionally shortened professional careers in gaming.
“Traditional sports have dramatically extended the aging curve thanks to sports science, recovery technology, and individualized performance systems. Extending that curve in esports is one of the core goals we’re working on at Maysun,” said Viktor Bartolomei, CEO of Maysun.

Beyond the professional tier, the partnership will also include community initiatives and educational content. These programs are designed to promote healthier gaming habits and provide a clear entry point for aspiring players to train sustainably, reflecting an industry-wide effort to align esports performance with the standards of traditional professional sports.
The collaboration mirrors a broader move in 2026 toward the professionalisation of player welfare. Maysun recently signed a similar multi-year deal with Team Heretics, introducing “return-to-play” frameworks to manage player injuries. This shift is also evident at the league level, where Riot Games EMEA recently partnered with Movember to embed mental health support directly into the LEC (League of Legends EMEA Championship) and VALORANT’s VCT EMEA tournament environments.
For Metizport, the Maysun deal complements a rapidly expanding portfolio of performance-focused partners. Under the leadership of Chief Commercial Officer Perry Smith, the organisation has recently secured major agreements with Samsung—naming the tech giant its official monitor and memory partner—and AndaSeat for custom ergonomic furniture.
“At Metizport, supporting our players on and off the server is a core priority. Welcoming Maysun marks an important step in strengthening that commitment,” said Smith in the team’s official communications. “We’re confident this partnership will elevate the support available to our players while offering our community new ways to engage with a brand dedicated to the future of the industry.”
