Nordic esports organisation Metizport has signed a new long-term agreement with Swedish apparel manufacturer Craft Sportswear, designating Craft as the club’s official teamwear supplier and technical kit partner.

The deal covers performance gear for Metizport’s professional rosters while establishing a framework for the co-development of a new commercial merchandise line.

The partnership marks Craft’s formal re-entry into competitive gaming. Owned by Swedish corporate group New Wave Group, Craft originally partnered with Metizport in July 2024, supplying technical kit during significant competitive milestones for the organisation, including its victory at the Svenska Cupen 2024 and its appearance at the BLAST Austin Major 2025 in Texas.

“It’s particularly great to be back together with Metizport and make a comeback in esports at the same time. We’re excited to continue building our partnership further and follow Metizport going forward,” stated Michael Saether, Sales Manager at Craft. Arjan Sydhagen Dalsøren, Chief Executive Officer at Metizport, added that Craft represents a “preferred and flexible partner” for both the club and its corporate structure as new retail lines enter development.

The agreement reinforces a broader commercial expansion for the Nordic club under Chief Commercial Officer Perry Smith, where  Metizport has systematically built out its sponsorship portfolio across several operational verticals. The club recently secured a multi-year title sponsorship deal with betting operator Epicbet for its flagship Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) division. To support its performance and operational infrastructure, Metizport also integrated display manufacturer Samsung for official gaming monitors, AndaSeat for gaming chairs, and health brand Maysun to oversee roster wellness and athletic performance.

By securing a multi-year technical supply agreement with an established athletic apparel manufacturer Metizport continues to consolidate its commercial operations. Although the deal’s exact length was not disclosed, it will be interesting to see how effectively Metizport scales its retail footprint and merchandise rollout through Craft’s established, international distribution network.

Craft isn’t alone in bridging traditional sportswear and competitive gaming. Japanese footwear and apparel brand ASICS recently signaled its own commitment to the space, entering esports through a high-profile partnership with Brazilian organisation Fluxo W7M.
